Reputed international designers on our panel, draw out the designs, keeping in mind the purpose, the user and the aesthetics of the final product. The construct is derived from old world architecture, natural landscapes and even heritage craftsmanship. Colours are rooted in earthy tones, ranging from aged wood, desert sand, forest greens and weathered stone. The design language as well as the materials used are inspired by contemporary culture too, producing classic pieces that can be passed on from one generation to the other

From our iconic diamond-stitched bottom panel – a mark of refined craftsmanship and reinforced strength to thoughtful additions such as zippered outside pockets, water-repellant treatments and more, make it last almost forever.
It’s all in the details
Crafted with attention to detail, the bags, their trims and accessories are chosen with great care to withstand time and elements. Be it treated brass metal trims to add a touch of vintage charm and sophistication to our bags. Or copper rivets that don’t rust and remain as good as new. Then there is special laser engraving on leather - a meticulous process that involves using high-precision laser technology to etch intricate designs, patterns, or text onto the leather surface. These and many more processes go on to reflect our commitment to delivering premium and stylish products that make you stand out in the crowd.

Materials
All efforts are made to ensure that everything that goes into the making of a Drakensberg piece is of a certain high
standard. We use vegetable-tanned full-grain leather. We only use the finest of hides that are subjected to only a minimum of chemical processes to leave them exceptionally smooth and natural in look and feel. Over time, the leather will develop a rich and lustrous patina. Water repllent premium canvas and oure cotton linning fabrics, combining with solid brass and copper hardware - materials chosen not only for their character but for their endurance. Built to age gracefully and designed to last, our pieces are a reflection of our values of integrity and trust. The entire supply chain is socially responsible and is regularly checked by us on site.
Quality Control
After production, each bag is checked for errors and quality defects. Particular attention is paid to checking the seams. In our manufacturing process, only one-off-a-kind pieces are created - no product is like the other. Variations in colour and shading are among the characteristics that make each piece unique. This is our statement against uniformity, towards products with a soul that are just as unique as their owner.
