All efforts are made to ensure that everything that goes into the making of a Drakensberg piece is of a certain high standard. We use vegetable-tarined full-grain leather. We only use the finest of hides that are subjected to only a minimum of chemical processes to leave them exceptionally smooth and natural in look and feel. Over time, the leather will develop a rich and lustrous patina. Water repellent premium canvas and our cotton lining fabrics, combining with solid brass and copper hardware-materials chosen not only for their character but for their endurance.
