Suitcase Tag "Luca" – Your New Travel Companion. Handcrafted from fine buffalo leather, it adds a special touch to every travel bag or weekender. Our luggage tag also serves a practical purpose. Inside, you can place a note or a business card with your contact details. In case your bag gets lost, the finder can easily reach you.
The suitcase tag is handcrafted from solid buffalo leather and features a laser engraving of our compass logo on the back. The leather strap is adjustable in length.

The bag made of canvas and leather is almost completely handmade in many individual steps. Our master bag makers and saddlers need years of training to be able to produce bags of this quality.

Sustainable Materials
All efforts are made to ensure that everything that goes into the making of a Drakensberg piece is of a certain high standard. We use vegetable-tarined full-grain leather. We only use the finest of hides that are subjected to only a minimum of chemical processes to leave them exceptionally smooth and natural in look and feel. Over time, the leather will develop a rich and lustrous patina. Water repellent premium canvas and our cotton lining fabrics, combining with solid brass and copper hardware-materials chosen not only for their character but for their endurance. Built to age gracefully and designed to last, our pieces are a reflection of our values of integrity and trust. The entire supply chain is socially responsible and is regularly checked by us on site.

For the tag, we exclusively use vegetable-tanned buffalo leather. This exceptionally durable leather originates from India. During production, the leather is hand-finished with oil and wax, resulting in its unique vintage patina.

Our products are crafted in India. Our workshop is a small family business, and their dedicated artisans passionately create our bags. Over time, our longstanding collaboration has grown into a genuine friendship. The production conditions adhere to socially responsible standards and comply with BSCI criteria. We regularly verify this in person. Our leather and cotton fabrics are locally sourced from India. Our cotton fabrics are dyed using only AZO-free dyes. Our leathers are fundamentally vegetable-tanned, meaning they are plant-based and free from aggressive tanning agents. Our standards are socially and ecologically justifiable and above average. However, we continuously strive to improve and further enhance our ecological and social footprint.
