Consistent is sometimes not consistent enough. With our travel bag »Steve« we wanted to take the adventure look to the extreme and create a homage to classic expedition luggage. David Livingstone's luggage might have looked something like this on one of his numerous expeditions across South Africa in the 19th century.

The travel bag "Steve" is ideal for longer weekend trips of up to 7 days. It can be casually slung over the shoulder or elegantly carried as hand luggage on the leather straps. On the outside there are two patch pockets in cargo design, which can be quickly opened with a magnetic closure when needed. There is also a large zipped compartment on the back.

The bag is of high quality, with all wear points on the outside covered in leather and additionally reinforced stress points. It is padded on the underside and quilted in the elegant "diamond stitch", our DRAKENSBERG signature element.

The two-piece set includes the "Steve" travel bag and the "Glen" toiletry bag in a vintage look. This can be opened wide with the zipper and is therefore very easy to fill. The base is made entirely of buffalo leather, which gives the toiletry bag shape stability and stability. Inside, the "Glen" has 2 practical storage compartments with elastic bands and an additional zippered compartment.

The bag made of canvas and leather is almost completely handmade in many individual steps. Our master bag makers and saddlers need years of training to be able to produce bags of this quality.

Leather is a natural material and may have small imperfections. Each leather product is also patinated by hand. This complex process makes our products unmistakable. No bag can be exactly like another. Small color deviations are unfortunately unavoidable and not a sign of poor quality.
