Consistent is sometimes not consistent enough. With our travel bag »Steve« we wanted to take the adventure look to the extreme and create a homage to classic expedition luggage. David Livingstone's luggage might have looked something like this on one of his numerous expeditions across South Africa in the 19th century.

The travel bag "Steve" is ideal for longer weekend trips of up to 7 days. It can be casually slung over the shoulder or elegantly carried as hand luggage on the leather straps. On the outside there are two patch pockets in cargo design, which can be quickly opened with a magnetic closure when needed. There is also a large zipped compartment on the back.

The bag is of high quality, with all wear points on the outside covered in leather and additionally reinforced stress points. It is padded on the underside and quilted in the elegant "diamond stitch", our DRAKENSBERG signature element.

It is the spontaneity and flexibility of road trips that inspired us to create our wash bag »Sid«. Especially on trips with changing overnight accommodations, it is often not worthwhile to unpack and repack your luggage regularly. The luggage then needs to be well organised.

As part of the classic marching pack, wash bags of this type are still used today for space-saving storage of cosmetics and body care products. Once unfolded, the case shows its true size with many storage compartments and the practical fastening option. The adjustable leather strap inside is used to attach razors, toothbrushes, etc.. If necessary, the metal buckle on the closure can be used to hang the toiletry bag on a hook. Before leaving, toilet bag »Sid« is simply rolled up again and fixed with the leather strap.

Leather is a natural material and may have small imperfections. Each leather product is also patinated by hand. This complex process makes our products unmistakable. No bag can be exactly like another. Small color deviations are unfortunately unavoidable and not a sign of poor quality.
